First Street Lofts was Uptown Reinvestment Corporation’s first adaptive reuse project in downtown Flint. Historically, the First Street Lofts building was placed on the National Register of Deeds as the original home of First National Bank and Trust in 1924. After serving various iterations of financial institutions, the former bank building was donated to Uptown Reinvestment Corporation to create First Street Lofts as a residential and commercial mixed-use building. First Street Lofts provides beautiful, affordable units in the gorgeous historic building. These spacious lofts include high ceilings, hardwood floors, large windows, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. The residences are walkable to all the restaurants, nightlife, and events downtown offers. The ground floor provides a staple office space highly visible to downtown patrons.
