The ROWE building is an exemplary model for new mixed-use construction in downtown Flint. In 2006, Uptown Reinvestment Corporation acquired three adjacent vacant buildings on the 500 block of Saginaw Street. The sites were combined to create a new four-story, 83,000-square-foot mixed-use office, retail, and residential space.
