Project Description
Cummings Great Expectations Flint opened its doors in November 2016 and is a sister school to Educare Flint. They provide no-cost, full-day, year-long early education to serve 180 Flint children, on location and at home, from birth to age 5. The school includes 11 early learning classrooms and adult learning and training spaces. Highly skilled teaching staff, early childhood specialists, and family engagement advocates connect children, parents, and community residents with needed services. Cummings Great Expectations was founded as a joint partnership of the Flint Early Childhood Collaborative, which includes representatives from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Genesee Intermediate School District, Flint Community Schools, and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
