Project Description
Uptown Reinvestment Corporation partnered with the University of Michigan-Flint to relocate the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management to the Riverfront Residence Hall. This collaboration provided a conductive downtown student activity hub for scholars enrolled in either business or management programs at the University of Michigan-Flint. The project transformed the second floor of the Saginaw Street building into a business school with a stock trading center in a partially glass-walled space with a stock ticker and 24 computers that allowed students to trade stocks. The renovation included adding nine regular classrooms, a video distance-learning classroom, a student lounge, conference rooms, and office space.
