The ROWE building is an exemplary model for new mixed-use construction in downtown Flint. In 2006, Uptown Reinvestment Corporation acquired three adjacent vacant buildings on the 500 block of Saginaw Street. The sites were combined to create a new four-story, 83,000-square-foot mixed-use office, retail, and residential space. While the ground floor features two different office spaces, a legacy professional service firm occupies the second and third floors. The fourth floor epitomizes downtown living with eight luxury loft apartments with high vaulted ceilings, large windows, and exposed brick aesthetics.
